Kristopher Mark is the owner/operator and designer of Kristopher Mark Designs. After Graduating from the prestigious Joseph Bulova School in 1992 with formal training in jewelry design and repair, he began working in New York’s diamond district as a bench jeweler designing and engineering new, nationally recognized jewelry lines. After several years, Kristopher returned to New Jersey where he decided to embark on his first business venture at the age of twenty-one. Since 1995, Kristopher has owned multiple jewelry retail establishments in New Jersey and has worked within the industry as a wholesale service provider. He has also developed entire lines of jewelry for joint venture companies to be sold wholesale nationally; and has consistently worked hand-in-hand with many investment grade jewelry buyers.
In 1999, with a desire to bring the finest quality and craftsmanship to his jewelry clients, Kristopher opened Kristopher Mark Designs in the quaint and picturesque Historic town of Clinton, New Jersey. As an accomplished pilot, Kristopher understands the type of dedication, commitment and precision required of aviation and applies these principles to many jewelry techniques; such as setting a 3 carat diamond… rarely, is there room for the slightest of mistakes. This is why he has strived to remain on the cutting edge of development in the jewelry industry throughout his entire career. In fact, in 2004, Kristopher was one of the first to bring Computer Aided Design to the forefront of the retail jewelry market, offering the ability to expedite the rapid prototyping of remarkable jewelry designs for premium clients.
Today, Kristopher Mark has resolved to develop and expand his beautiful jewelry line while remaining dedicated to building a trusted company. Determined to remain a leader in the industry, Kristopher Mark has created a new state-of-the-art interactive online platform to make his designs more available to the public.

Ray is a full time GIA Gemologist and appraiser at KMD with nearly 30 years of experience in the jewelry industry. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickensen Univ., Ray found an unexpected passion in the jewelry business in the late’80’s. His fascination with diamonds and other gemstones led him to pursue his gemologist degree and onward to advanced courses of study. Ray was a board member of the New Jersey Jewelers Assoc. where he organized clinics on appraising and gemology for jewelers wanting to better their understanding in those areas.
In the mid 2000’s, Ray was sub-contracted by several U.S Government agencies as an appraiser for seized property. He worked for some of the largest independent jewelers in the State as a diamond buyer, consultant and appraiser. Shortly after moving to Hunterdon County, he looked for the absolute best jewelry store that shared the same “driven to excellence” mindset. “Kris’s reputation for craftsmanship and unsurpassed customer service is hard earned and well deserved” He’s also just a genuinely nice guy. I feel fortunate to be a member of the KMD experience”. In his spare time, Ray enjoys his interests as a musician (guitarist) and time spent outdoors with his wife and dogs.
Katy has worked at KMD since 2012. Originally from northern Kentucky, she transferred to N.J. to take a management position at AT&T. She retired from AT&T in 2005 and later held several positions in golf pro shop management. Katy soon after pursued her interests in retail jewelry where her natural friendliness and ability to create a superlative customer experience fit perfectly with the KMD vision. Katy has a varied schedule but can usually be seen Wednesday through Saturday and always with a bright smile.
She still enjoys golf outings on her days off.
